MSA ALTAIR 4XR Multi-Gas Detector

The ALTAIR 4XR Multi-gas Detector Outfitted with rapid-response MSA XCell® sensors, the ALTAIR 4XR Gas Detector can detect combustible gases (LEL), oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S) levels. This particular version even has charcoal housing.

This multi-gas detector is suitable for use in industries including fire service, contracting, industrial, mining, oil and gas and utilities.  The compliance feature allows you to see at a glance whether or not your MSA multi-gas detector has been bump tested.

Compared to the MSA Altair 4X multi-gas detector, the 4XR is still compatible with the MSA Galaxy GX2 stand.  The MSA Altair 4XR box includes the device itself, a charger, a calibration cap and a short piece of tubing.

Backed by a 4-year warranty, the 4XR has the following features which make it one of the toughest 4-gas monitors on the market:
